A native of Taney Town, Md., Mr. Fogle was a son of the late Alvin Hyser and Grace Fogle and was the widower of Mary Ayers Fogle. He was retired from the U.S. Army after 30 years, serving as a medic during World War II and as a transportation engineer. He served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War and during the Cuban crisis. He was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Childress officiating. A native of Bogota, N.J., Mrs. Findley was a daughter of the late John Fiske Hill and Anna Alida Baldwin and was the widow of Dr. Warren George Findley. She was a graduate of the University of Rochester and held a master's degree from Columbia University. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Athens, the American Association of University Women, the League of Women Voters, the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the National Society of Colonial Dames. She was director of special education for Clarke County. By her request, her body has been donated for medical research to the Medical University of South Carolina. Mrs. Calhoun was a daughter of the late Jessie Lee Sugg Clark McCulloch and Austin Clark and was the widow of Daniel Malloy Calhoun. She was a graduate of Eastern Carolina University and taught in High Point and Bladen County schools. She generated funds to bring the North Carolina Symphony on its first statewide tours. She was a member of Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church, where she was an organist, a Sunday school teacher and a member of the building committee. He was a lifelong member of the Madison County Farm Bureau, as well as a charter and honorary lifetime member of the Madison County Cattlemans Association. A very Godly mother, she read a Bible story every night to her children and took them to church each Sunday at Young Harris United Methodist Church where she was a member. Mrs. Saye was the widow of Dr. Albert Berry Saye, noted professor of political science at the University of Georgia. She was the daughter of Percy John Randolph Kendrick and Julia Augusta Thornhill Kendrick and was born in Pavo, Georgia. Mrs. Saye graduated from Bessie Tift College and the University of Georgia. She was secretary to the head of the Department of Political Science and secretary and administrative assistant to the Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Georgia. Mrs. Saye was a member of the First Baptist Church of Athens where she taught Sunday School for many years. She and Dr. Saye joined with other members of the First Baptist Church in founding Milledge Avenue Baptist Church where they were active until it was well-established when they returned to the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Saye was a member of the Wednesday Study Club and both she and Dr. Saye were avid gardeners specializing in the cultivation of roses. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Rutledge Town Cemetery in Rutledge, Georgia. Dr. Jon Appleton, Pastor emeritus of the First Baptist Church of Athens, will conduct the services. Survivors include a number of cousins and devoted nieces and nephews of Dr. Saye.
