A native of Wilkinson County, Mrs. Beeland was a daughter of the late James and Mattie Jones Angles, and was the widow of Ralph Harrison Beeland. She attended Wilkinson County schools, was a retired spooler for Mary-Leila Cotton Mills and was a member of West End Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McCommons Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Usry officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Cemetery. A native of Caldwell County, N.C., Mrs. Hardin was a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Suddreth Sigmon, and was the widow of Lou G. Hardin. She was the retired director of the Habersham County DFACS and was a member of Clarkesville United Methodist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Clarkesville United Methodist Church with the Revs. Joy Brown, Oscar Crosby and Jan Devereaux officiating. Burial will be in Clarkesville Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Gerald Hardin Jr., Elberton; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was the son of the late Homer Hill and was preceded in death by a brother, W.F. Hill. Survivors are his wife, Kay B. Hill of Maysville, and a son Andy.
