A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Simpson was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jiles Beck, was the widow of Henry Lewis Simpson, and was preceded in death by a son, Lewis Simpson, and a daughter, Gracie Simpson. She was a lifelong resident of Toccoa and was a member of Rock Quarry Holiness Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Edward Hood officiating. Burial will be in Zebulon Baptist Church cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Freddie Simpson, Toccoa, and Leon Simpson, Canon; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons Gary Simpson, Boyd Simpson, Ronnie Simpson, Kelvin Simpson, Nathan Simpson and Dan Simmons will serve as pallbearers. He was a retired plant manager for BH Aircraft and was an army veteran. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery.
