A native of Anderson County, S.C., Mr. Ertzberger was a son of MaeBell Craft Ertzberger, Hartwell, and the late Artis Dacosta Ertzberger. He was co-owner of The New Look Vinyl Siding Company and the Cross Roads Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cross Roads Baptist Church with the Rev. Ben Coleman officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Walton County, Mr. Haynie was a son of the late G.R. and Sarah Patrick Haynie. He was retired vice president of Hartwell Company, and a former member of Hartwell Kiwanis Club and a former Boy Scout Master. A World War II navy veteran, Mr. Haynie was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Nancy Hart Masonic Lodge 690, and Hartwell First Baptist Church where he attended Doc Adams Sunday school class. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Hartwell First Baptist Church with Dr. F. Hugh Kirby officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Kitty Treadwell Haynie; a daughter, Patsy H. Brown, Griffin; a son, Tony Haynie, Ft. Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A native of Aurora, N.C., Mrs. Hartsfield was a daughter of the late Riley and Mary Cleary Kirk, and was the widow of Fernando Hartsfield. She attended Franklin Springs Institute, later renamed Emmanuel College, and co-owned a grocery store with her late husband in Chattahoochee, Fla. She was a member of Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Franklin Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs. Raymond Carr, John W. Swails, and Larry Harper, and Dr. A.D. Beacham Jr. officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Franklin Springs City cemetery. She was the founder of Spruce Pine Book Club and Spruce Pine Public Library, active in the founding of Trinity Episcopal Church and the Colonial Dames and Daughters of the American Revolution, and was a member of Spruce Pine Woman's Club, president of North Carolina Federation of Women's Clubs, and hostess for the Legislative Building in Raleigh, N.C. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Episcopal Church, Spruce Pine, N.C., with the Revs. David Rose and Robert Liebenow officiating. Burial will be in Spruce Pine Cemetery. A native of Fulton County, Dr. Denman was the son of the late Julius and Minnie Murphy Denman. He received his doctorate of ocular science from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a past president of the Georgia Optometric Association and the Southern Council of Optometrists. Dr. Denman was a past president of the Athens Kiwanis Club and lieutenant governor of Kiwanis International. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Dr. Denman was a member and elder of the First Presbyterian Church in Athens. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ruth Schillinger Denman, Athens; sons and daughters-in-law, Andy and Dannette Denman, Covington, and Steve and Carole Denman, Watkinsville; daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Tommy Wilson, Athens; brother, William C. Denman, Tucker; grandchildren, Cynthea Wilson, Stephanie Wilson, Tommy Wilson Jr. and Drew Denman, all of Athens, and Katie Denman and Laura Denman, both of Watkinsville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at the First Presbyterian Church in Athens with Drs. Charles Hasty, Joe Berry and Glenn Doak officiating.
