Mr. Shaw was a son of the late Lek and Bertha Nelms Shaw and was the widower of Mary Evelyn Shaw. He was retired from American Pest Control and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Pennington officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Deshong, Warner Robins; a son, David Shaw, Winder; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A native of Elbert County, Mr. McIntosh was a son of the late Clarence and Lizzie Rucker McIntosh. He was a member of Vance Creek Baptist Church, Elbert County. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Vance Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Rolac officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
