Mr. Sellers was a son of Octavie Bridges Sellers, Covington, and the late Ephraim Sellers. He was a paint and body shop worker. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bernstein Funeral Home with the Revs. Leon Pass and Dennis Young officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Gotts, Anderson, S.C.; a son, Chris Sellers, Athens; three sisters, Judy Yioughn, Angie Hinton and Sybil Smith, all of Covington; two brothers, John Sellers and Doug Sellers, both of Covington; and a grandchild. A native of Stephens County, Mr. Farmer was a son of the late G.B. and Nona Dodd Farmer. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Chopped Oak Baptist Church and VFW Post 4346. He was employed by LeTourneau for a number of years and was retired from Vermont American. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Craig Brown officiating. Burial will be in Chopped Oak Baptist Church cemetery. Survivors include five daughters, Debbie Reason and Donna Ginn, both of Toccoa, Jan Luxon and Sherri Strange, both of Orlando, Fla., and Suzanne Lopez, Clearwater, Fla.; a son, Greg Boyer, Orlando; two sisters, Loyce Akers, Stuart, Fla., and Valerie Boynton, Newton, Mass.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A native of Hartville, Ohio, Mr. Overholt was a son of the late John H. and Mattie Beiler Overholt. He was retired founder and owner of Overholt Trust Co., Honea Path, S.C. He was a member of Hartwell Mennonite Church and was a Gideon. He was a missionary to Haiti and was a former caretaker of Hartwell Mennonite Center, formerly the United Methodist Church Campground. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Whispering Pines Mennonite Church, Honea Path, with Billy Stowe and Nelson Kurtz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Andrew Overholt officiating. Mr. Brown was born in Hart County, August 3, 1934, son of the late I.T. and Annie Lee Whitaker Brown. He was a retired textile executive, past member of the Royston City Council, the past president of Hartwell Rotary Club and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Mr. Brown was also a member of the Royston First United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Crusaders Sunday School Class. Survivors include his wife, Peggy McCollum Brown, Royston, Georgia; a son, Mike Brown, St. Mary's, Georgia; a daughter, Pam Wilson, Watkinsville, Georgia; three grandchildren, Tara Brown and Christopher Brown, both of St. Mary's, Georgia, and Justin Wilson, Watkinsville, Georgia; two brothers, Terrell Brown, Athens, Georgia, and Stewart Brown, Edmond, Oklahoma; and a sister, Louise Tew, Greenville, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by a sister, Johnnie Bell. Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2000 at the Royston First United Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Anthony officiating. Burial will follow in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park in Hartwell, Georgia.
