A native of Oconee County, S.C., Mrs. Brady was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Brady. She was a personal care giver and was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, Fairplay, S.C. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hamby Funeral Home, Lavonia, with the Rev. Johnny Brady officiating. Burial will be in Toccoa City Cemetery. Survivors include nieces and nephews. A native of Pensacola, Fla., Mr. Thompson was a son of the late Ashton A. and Mary Babic Thompson. He was an engineer with Lucintech, was a former member of the U.S. Army Reserve and was a member of St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church. A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church with Father Richard K. Tibbetts officiating. Survivors include his wife, Rosella Rigley Thompson; three sons, Paul Thompson, Oakwood, Kevin Thompson, Greyson, and Andrew Thompson, Commerce; and a sister, Katharin Thompson, Vernon Hills, Ill. She was born in Osyka, Mississippi to Flora and Joel Terrell and was a longtime resident of Ocala, Florida and Cleveland, Tennessee. While living in Cleveland, she served as the secretary of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. She was a parishioner of Grace Episcopal Church and St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Ocala. Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wade Austin, Sr. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Walter W. Austin of Macon; 5 grandchildren, Terrell Austin, Tucker Austin, and Graham Austin, all of Athens, GA, Campbell Austin of Tallahassee, FL, and Ben Austin of Macon; 4 Great-Grandchildren, Bryan Barks, Tucker Barks, August Austin-Totty, and Amelia Fountain, all of Athens.
