Bonnie Blanche Edmonds Martin, 72, of 202 Pearl St., formerly of Toccoa, died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2000. A native of Toccoa, Mrs. Martin was a daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Cobb Edmonds and was the widow of George Martin. She was retired from Southern Bell after 35 years. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Acree-Davis Funeral Home, Toccoa, with the Rev. Don Scott officiating. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Griffin Memorial Park. Survivors include two daughters, Katherine Cottrell, Pickens, and Diana Berry, Woodridge, Va.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of Young Harris Memorial United Methodist Church, where she had been a Sunday School teacher for over 35 years. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marilyn Brackett and her husband W. Carnell Brackett.
