A native of Habersham County, Mrs. Elrod was a daughter of the late Clea and Ora Roper Kinney and was a widow of Robert ''Bob'' Lee Elrod. She was a member of Hills Crossing Baptist Church where she as a secretary and treasurer of the adult ladies Sunday School class. She was a member of AARP and a volunteer for the American Red Cross. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at McGahee-Griffen and Stewart Funeral Home with the Revs. J.T. Tyson and Byron McEachern officiating. Burial will follow the services in Yonah Memorial Gardens. She is survived by: a daughter and a son-in-law: Nancy and Scott Hardigree of Hartwell, GA, grandchildren: Morris Gibson Hardigree and Alicia Hardigree, Jean Hardigree Kidd and Charles William Kidd, Jr., great-grandchildren: William Scott Kidd, Marion Scott Hardigree and Alexandra Jean Hardigree. She is preceded in death by her husband: Frank Dent Morris, sister: Mildred Carr Linville and brother, John Henry Carr.
