A native of Oconee County, she grew up in the Dark Corners area and later moved to Athens, where she lived from 1955 until 1992. It was then that she moved back to Watkinsville. She was a daughter of the late Atticus Eric and Jannie Lou Dean Brown, and the widow of Ira William Crowe. She was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Lila Brown, and a grandson, Adam Wesley Gunter. Mrs. Crowe was a former General Time/Westclox employee with more than thirty years of employment, and a former employee of Thurman Furniture Company. She was a member of Watkinsville First Christian Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2001, at 3:00 PM at Watkinsville First Christian Church. Rev.
