Born on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 1921 in Madison County, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Charles Leon and Charline Sasser Adair of Comer, Ga. and later resided in Athens and Gainesville. Mr. and Mrs. Wier were married September 28, 1945. She was a homemaker and owner-operator of the North Georgia Pecan Company with her husband for a number of years. She graduated from the University of Georgia with Honors and was president of Alpha Chi Omega and Panhellenic Council. Mrs. Wier was a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Athens and attended Gainesville First United Methodist Church where she and her husband were members of the Open Door Sunday School Class. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Marilou Wier Bordonaro and Steve of Alpharetta, Ga.; one son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Edward Wier, Jr. and Lynda of Roswell, Ga.; three granddaughters, Megan Adair Bordonaro and Cory Lanier Bordonaro both of Alpharetta, Ga. and Jameson Wier of Roswell, Ga.
