A native of Hart County, Mr. Segars was a son of the late Robert Manson and Ruby Nell Mauldin Segars. He was a retired cattle and poultry farmer and was a member of Carnesville Baptist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ginn Funeral Home with the Revs. Pearson Pardue and Ralph Goss officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Pauline Eavenson Segars; three daughters, Connie Mylinda Wiggins, Mooresville, N.C., Robbie Elaine Rice, Carnesville, and Jennifer Lynn Parsons, Albany; two brothers, Leon Segars and Douglas Segars, both of Carnesville; and seven grandchildren. A native of Morgan County, Miss Latimer was a daughter of Jeanette Moody Latimer, Athens, and the late William E. Latimer. She was a certified law enforcement officer, was retired from St. Mary's Hospital Security Department and was of the Catholic faith.
