A native of Habersham County, Mr. Forester was a son of the late Rossie and Geneva Powers Forester. He was preceded in death by a stepson, Louis Glaze. He was a supervisor at Chrysler Corporation, Detroit, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Mount Airy Masonic Lodge 141 and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 7720. He was a Shriner and was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope Baptist Church with the Revs. Hoyt Skelton and Chris York officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with full military honors provided by Rabun County DAV Chapter 15. OBITUARIES Story last updated at 9:05 p.m. on Monday, March 5, 2001 Nancy Sue Brown Cavens Los Angeles Nancy Sue Brown Cavens, Born October 20, 1933 in Bogart, Oconee County Georgia. She was the daughter of Joe A. Brown and Louise Elizabeth Autry. Nancy was preceded in death by her sister Betty Jo Cosby and by her husband Albert F. Cavens. They were married on July 31, 1965. Nancy is survived by three brothers, Thomas G. Brown of Las Vegas, NV, Charles W. Brown of Alexandria, VA and William G. Bowden of Wahiawa, HI, also by many nieces and nephews. Nancy was a 1954 Graduate of the University of Georgia at Athens with a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration, she was a junior auditor with Price Waterhouse in Atlanta for several years. Nancy moved to California in the late 50's, and in 1957 she was employed by the Television Division of Paramount Pictures Corp. In 1962 she joined the law firm of O'Melveny and Myers. She retired from that firm after 35 years of enjoyable employment. Memorial service will be Saturday March 10, 2001 at 11:00AM at Woods Scovern Mortuary 511 South Central Ave., Glendale, Ca. Interment will be private. In Lieu of Flowers donations may be made in the memory of Nancy to St. Joseph Hospital of Burbank, Ca. or to a favorite charity of choice.
