A native of Sykesville, Pa., Mr. Reiter was a widower of Mary Reiter. He was preceded in death by children, Donald A. Reiter and Dorothy Kelly. He was a production foreman at International Mineral Company in Niagara Falls, N.Y., before he retired to Winter Haven, Fla. in 1972. He was a fifty year member of the Masons, a longtime volunteer at Winter Haven Hospital, and was the oldest charter member of Oconee Presbyterian Church. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 1 at Friendship Presbyterian Church. A native of Jenkins County, Mr. Dickey was a lifelong resident of Burke County. He was owner and operator of the Huddle House Restaurant in Waynesboro. He was an honor graduate of Waynesboro High School, and received a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia. He was employed at the University of Georgia in Housing for many years and was in the restaurant business for the last 20 years. OBITUARIES Story last updated at 10:59 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2001 Ruth N. Coker Athens Mrs. Ruth N. Coker, age 84, died on June 8, 2001 at St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, Georgia. Mrs. Coker was born in White Hall, Illinois on November 9, 1916, the daughter of Wesley P. and Della Kitchell Neutzman. She married George E. Coker on April 18, 1936 and maintained a home in White Hall until she moved to Athens, Georgia in 1990. Recently, she had moved to Magnolia Estates in Bogart, Georgia. Mrs. Coker worked at Gregory Laboratories and Affiliated Laboratories, later moving to an administrative support position with Centerre Trust Company in St. Louis, Missouri. Before her retirement in 1982, she was promoted to a trust officer position at Boatman's Bank. She was active in several community clubs in White Hall, enjoyed all sports activities including being an avid golfer and loved music and dancing. She was an avid reader all her life and served on the Board of the White Hall Public Library. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a brother (Donald Neutzman of Tacoma, Washington). She is survived by a son David L. Coker (married to Sharon J. Price) of Athens, Georgia, a sister, Gladys Roodhouse of Boulder, Colorado, a grandson Steven D. Coker (married to Linda Groce) of Southlake, Texas, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, June 11, 2001 at Lord and Stephens-West, 1211 Jimmy Daniels Road.
