A native of Greene County, Mrs. Chester was a daughter of the late Clarence Springer and Corine Johnson Springer. She was a member of New Spring Field Baptist Church, Siloam, where she served on the Mother Board and was treasurer of the senior choir for many years. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at New Springs Field Baptist Church with the Rev. Roi Johnson officiating. The body will be placed at the church at noon.
