A native of Emanuel County, Mrs. Mann was a daughter of the late Samuel and Lilla Waters Porterfield and was the widow of Shelton Tucker and Sanford H. Mann. She was a homemaker and was a member of Elberton First Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School class. Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Berry Funeral Home with Dr. C.E. Jackson III officiating. A native of Toccoa, Mr. Roper was a son of the late William John Arther Roper and Peggy Lou Ella Addison. He was married to t he late Mary Sue Kicklighter Roper. He was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Melbourne. He attended the University of Georgia and received his degree in pharmacy from the Southern School of Pharmacy, Atlanta. He was a pharmacist at Rexall Drugs, Liggett Drugs, Wise's Pharmacies and Canova Drugs. He served as chief of pharmacy at Alachua General Hospital, Gainesville, Fla., and retired from Eckerd Drugs in 1995. He was a noble of the R.T. Schafer Lodge, Gainesville, Fla., the Scotish Rite of Freemansonry, the Azan temple of Melbourne, and was a member of the American Legion. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church with the Rev. Truitt Brawner officiating. Mr. Patrick was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Masters Degree in Business Administration and was retired from General Tire as Regional Credit Director.
