A native of Hancock County, Mr. Robbins was a son of the late Joe and Carrie Howell Robbins. He was retired from Greene County Board of Education as a bus driver with 30 years of service. He was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church where he served on the deacon board. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Flat Rock Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Slaughter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Robbins; two daughters, Lucille Hill, Siloam, and Agnes Pierce, Atlanta; five sons, Rufus J. Robbins and Cleveland Robbins, both of Greensboro, Terry Robbins, White Plains, Melvin Robbins and Clyde Robbins, both of Union Point; a sister, Elean ''Book'' Williams, Atlanta; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A native of Franklin County, Mr. Addison was a son of Eva Chitwood Addison, Toccoa, and the late W. Doyle Addison. He was the customer service manager with Singer Furniture Company for 30 years and was a member of the Masons, the shriners, and the Order of Eastern Star. He attended Toccoa First Baptist Church. Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Toccoa First Baptist Church with Drs. Jim Nelson and Henry Fields will officiate. Burial will be at Stephens Memorial Gardens. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Edith Cater Addison; two sisters, Euline Johnson and Ophelia Fulbright, both of Toccoa; three brothers, Beck Addison, Melvin Addison, both of Toccoa, and Artis Addison, Easley, S.C. OBITUARIES Story last updated at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2001 Sybil S. Andrews Athens Sybil S. Andrews, of Wildwood Court, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2001 at her home. A native of Crawford County, Georgia, Mrs. Andrews has been a resident of Athens for 16 years. She was the widow of the late John J. Andrews and the daughter of the late Minnie Pyles and Marion Malone Smith. She received her BS degree from Georgia State College at Milledgeville and completed graduate courses at Auburn University. After 39 years of service in the teaching profession, Mrs. Andrews retired from the Muscogee County School System in 1977. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa honorary education sorority. Mrs. Andrews was an active member of Wynnton United Methodist Church, and more recently, Athens First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Pacesetters Class, the United Methodist Women, and served on the Administrative Board. In addition, she was a member of the Athens Women's Club and the Athens Garden Club. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Karla A. and Jim Murphy, Athens; son and daughter-in-law, John J. and Nancy Andrews, Arnoldsville; and son Donald M. Andrews, Athens; four sisters, Mary Brent Smith, Macon, Nell Dubosky, Dothan, Ala., Ruth Bailey, Lizella and Ann Collins, Camilla; and five grandchildren, Jay, Lindsey, Elizabeth, Christopher Andrews and Hannah Murphy. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at the First United Methodist Church with the Revs. Grady Wigley and Carolyn Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Nephews of Mrs. Andrews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Bernstein Funeral Home. Mrs. Ledford, a native of Clarke County, was the daughter of A.L. and Gatha Carey Dixon Jr. She had been employed at Flowers Inc. Balloons for the past nine years in the shipping department and was a member of the Edwards Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to her parents are her husband, Donnie L. Ledford; son, Christopher Ledford; and a daughter Misty Ledford, all of Athens; brothers and sisters-in-law, Danny and Violet Dixon, Bogart; Jimmy and Joyce Dixon and Anthony and Yvonne Dixon, both of Statham; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Ray Nunn, Bostwick, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Segars officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
