A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Phillips was a daughter of the late Willis Rubin and Mary Frances Wansley Allen, and was a widow of the Rev. Spence Arthur Phillips. She was a homemaker, member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, and a member of the Dorcas Sunday School class. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Revs. Jack Sosby and Bill Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Carpenter (Mrs. Frank), Eastonollee, Bega Gibby, Toccoa; a son, Marion Phillips, Toccoa; ten grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chris King, Danny Phillips, David Gibby, Mike Carpenter, Mathew Turpin, Josh Carpenter, Scott Carpenter, Jonathan Carpenter, Joseph Carpenter, Corey Carpenter, Jarred Eakins, and Jason King. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late Alvin Benson and Della Ayers Payne, and was a widow of Robert Frank Davis. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Heaton. She was a former employee of the State Restaurant and Georgia Baptist Assembly. She was a member of Eastanollee Baptist Church.
