A native of Barrow County, Mr. Flanagan was a son of the late Y.W. Flanagan and Winnie Thompson. He graduated from Winder High School and attended Reinhardt College. He graduated from the University of Georgia and was a retired mobile home salesman. He was a member of Lake Park United Methodist Church, where he was active in the church choir. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Smith's Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Survivors include a daughter, Stacey Gonzales, Sugar Hill; two sons, Shawn Flanagan and Shane Flanagan, both of Winder; a stepfather, C.W. Christian, Tenn.; and a grandchild. A native of Abbeville, S.C., Mr. Garrett was a son of Birdie Holcomb Garrett and the late Vester Garrett and was the widow of Eva Hassie Garrett. He was a mechanic for Garrett Automotive. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Apple Valley Baptist Church with the Revs. Dennis Kessler, Johnathan Randall and Lee Hunter officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include two daughters, Kathy Anderson and Patsy Garrett, both of Commerce; a son, Ricky Garrett, Commerce; two sisters, Virginia Gailey, Commerce, and Mildred Wood, Toccoa; a brother, Verner Garrett, Commerce; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A native of Portland, Texas, Mr. Williams was a son of the late Robert and Zahara Baker Williams. He was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran of World War II and was a Southern Baptist Missionary having lived in Niamey, Niger and West Africa. He was a member of the Toccoa First Baptist Church and the Jess Hayes Sunday School class. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Toccoa with Dr. Henry Fields and Dr. Jim Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Toccoa City Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Ruby L.
