      Obituary for Darrell Wilburn Bailey                         
 
Obituary:   Hull, GA - Darrell Wilburn Bailey, 81, died September 7, 2009.
Born in Lonoake County, AR, he was the son of Howell Bailey and Minnie Bland 
Whitaker and was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Brock Bailey. Mr. 
Bailey was retired from Westinghouse/ABB. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a 
member of VFW and American Legion. 
Funeral services will be Friday, September 11, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Lord and 
Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville with Rev. Joe Wood officiating. Interment 
will be at Stephens Memorial Gardens, Toccoa with Rev. Barry Black 
officiating. 
Pallbearers will be Ed Manders, Gerry Gabriel, Harry Daniels, Danny Lord, 
Melvin Adams and William Adams. 
Survivors include his children, Stephen M. Bailey (Judy A.) of Danielsville, 
Beverly D. Forrester (James T.) of Hull and Barry H. Bailey of Hull; 
grandchildren, Mike Bailey, Katie Barnett, Joshua B. Lance, James T. 
Forrester, Jr. and Jacob B. Forrester; great grandchildren, Bethany Lance, 
J.B. Lance and Alex Barnett.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7:00 until 
9:00 PM.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Camp Maranatha, P.O. Box 53, 
Ila, GA 30647.
