MORTUARY.

Athens, Ga., July 19-
Sunday afternoon a particularly sad funeral was conducted when the body of 
young Edward Bailey was borne to Oconee cemetery and a simple service said over 
his casket.  On June 26 the young man, exactly 21 years old, enlisted in the 
army.  Yesterday morning his father here received a wire announcing his death 
at Columbus, Ohio, the recruiting station to which he was assigned.
