BARBER – The friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Barber of Winterville, 
GA; Miss Ruby Barber, Mr. Marcus Barber, Winterville, GA; Mr. and Mrs. Reece 
Barber, Watkinsville, GA; Mrs. Nelly (Missie) Berryman, Bros. Eva Pittman, 
Athens, GA; Mr. and Mrs. Tobie Parker, Matthews, S.C.; Mr. and Mrs. Dallis 
Barber, Athens, GA; Mr. and Mrs. Sam Barber, East Point, GA; Mr. Henry Barber, 
Atlanta, GA; and the grandsons are invited to attend the funeral of Mr. Gus B. 
Barber, Tuesday afternoon, February 5, 1957, from the Winterville Methodist 
Church at two (2:00) o’clock. Rev. Marion Sherrill, pastor of Winterville 
Methodist Church, will officiate.  Serving as pallbearers will be the nephews 
and please meet at the Winterville Methodist Church at one-forty-five 
o’clock.  Remains will be placed in state at the church thirty minutes before 
the hour of service.  Interment will be in the Winterville cemetery.  Bridges 
Funeral Home.
