Sweetly She Rests 
Neath The Flowers 

Funeral of Mrs J S Bernstein Held Sunday Afternoon 

Sunday afternoon at half past two o’clock at the residence on Hancock avenue 
was held the funeral of Mrs J S Bernstein who died Friday morning after a 
brief illness. 

Honoring the memory of this loveable woman, scores of sorrowing friends 
assembled at the hour for the funeral exercises and with them brought 
beautiful floral offerings, typical of the love they bore her. 

The funeral services,  the solemn rites of the Hebrew church, were conducted 
by Rabbi L Koplowitz, who delivered a solemn and impressive discourse. 

The remains of Mrs. Bernstein were escorted to the Hebrew cemetery by a large 
number of her sorrowing friends and in quite of the Sabbath evening were 
tenderly and lovingly laid to rest.
