Gloria Fitzpatrick-Bowden, 69, of Fort Pierce, Fla., died Saturday, August 12, 
2006, at her residence.
She was born in Athens, and had made her home in Fort Pierce since moving from 
Athens in February, 1961. She was a 35 year employee of Fort Pierce Hospital 
and Lawnwood Regional Medical Center, retiring in 1998 as billing supervisor.

Survivors include sons, Gary Lloyd Bowden and Michael Fitzpatrick Bowden, both 
of Fort Pierce, Fla.; daughters, Gina B. Allen, Fort Pierce, Fla., and Jane B. 
Norris, Port St. Lucie, Fla.; brothers, Grady Fitzpatrick and Jerry 
Fitzpatrick, both of Fort Pierce, Fla.; sisters, Sara Taul, Ashboro, N.C., and 
Eleanor Morgan, Danielsville; and eight grandchildren.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, August 16, in the chapel of Yates 
Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 
2500 Virginia Ave., Suite 202, Fort Pierce, Fla. 34981.  Yates Funeral Home, 
Fort Pierce, Fla., was in charge of arrangements.
