Death and Burial
Of Marion Bowles 

After a Long Illness Mr. 
Bowles Passed Away 
Tuesday 

Mr. Marion Bowles, who had been for a number of years a great sufferer, died 
at his home in East Athens Tuesday and his funeral was conducted yesterday 
afternoon at his residence in the presence of a number of sorrowing friends. 

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W G. Crawley, pastor of Oconee 
Street  Methodist church, of which Mr. Bowles was a member.  The remains were 
interred in Oconee cemetery.
