Mrs. Rosa Brooks 
Dies near Center 

Passing Away of an Aged 
And Highly Respected 
Citizen 

Mrs Rosa Ann Brooks died at her house near Center Tuesday night after a brief 
illness, and was buried yesterday in the burial ground near that place. Mrs. 
Brooks was eighty-eight years of age, and was one of the most highly esteemed 
women of that community.  She was a consistent member of the Presbyters church 
and was greatly beloved by all who knew her.  Mrs. Brooks was an aunt of City 
Marshal Lloyd E Brooks of this city.
