Roger Dale Busbin, 51, of Athens, died Wednesday, October 18, 2006.

A native of Clarke County, he was the son of the late James Alton and Mildred 
Carter Busbin, and was employed with Certainteed for over twenty years. Mr. 
Busbin was preceded in death by a brother, James V. Busbin. 

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Lynn Busbin; son, Josh Dale Busbin, 
Winterville; daughter, Casey Geiman , Hull; brothers, David T. Busbin and 
Larry Busbin, both of Winterville, and Ricky A. Busbin, Hull; sisters, Doris 
Ann Gabriel, Frieda B. Rice and Sandra B. Arnold, all of Winterville, Beverly 
B. Gabriel, Colbert, Susan B. Mauldin, Watkinsville, Helen B. Vidic, Kanakee, 
Ill.; two grandchildren, Seth Geiman and Serena Busbin; and a number of nieces 
and nephews.

Funeral services were held Sunday, October 22 in the chapel of Lord & Stephens 
Funeral Home, East, with the Revs. Joe Wood and Dennis Nix officiating. Burial 
will be in Arnoldsville Cemetery.

Memorials contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Lord & 
Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge arrangements.
