Funeral Notice
Bryant – Died Sunday, Apr 9th at his home, Mr. Melvin Otis Bryant, in his 50th 
year.  He is survived by by his wife, Mrs. Odell Bryant; a daughter, Miss Lois 
Emily Bryant; two sons, Mr. Ralph Bryant and Mr. Donald Bryant, and a sister, 
Mrs. Fred Lewis, all of Athens.  The funeral was this, Monday afternoon, Apr 
10th at 1:30 o’clock, from the Tuckston church.  The following gentlemen served 
as pallbearers; Mr. John Hancock, Mr. Prince Hancock, Mr. Derrell Hancock, Mr. 
Sherman Hancock, Mr. David Johnson, and Mr. Willis Johnson. Rev T.V. Chambers 
officiated, assisted by Rev. R.W. Green.  Interment was in Lester cemetery.  
Bernstein Funeral Home.
