Ronald Wayne Cooper, 53, of Athens, died Friday, July 7, 2006, in Oglethorpe 
County.

He was born in Athens and was the son of the late Willis A. and Edith Johnson 
Cooper. He was the former owner of Cooper’s and Aunt B’s Restaurant in East 
Athens. 

Survivors include two sons, Clint Cooper, Crawford, and Zeke Saye Cooper, 
Watkinsville; a step-son, Ross K. Faulkner, Comer; and a step-daughter, Megan 
McLeroy, Athens.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 14, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of 
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Mitch Elder officiating. There will 
be no visitation and cremation will follow.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, is in charge of arrangements.
