Carter, Emma 

Mrs. Emma Carter 
Died Yesterday A.M. 

Yesterday morning about 3 o’clock Mrs. Emma Carter, sixty years old and for a 
long time confined to her bed, passed away at  her  home on Peters Street; and 
the interment will follow in Oconee cemetery.  The pall bearers will be Messrs. 
A. G. Dudley, W. P. Eberhart, Henry Mealor, Weldon Wood, Ralph Jackson, and Bob 
Wilson.  She had no children but left two sisters and two brothers:  Mrs. 
Martha Flournoy and Mrs. Louise Peeler, and Messrs. J. W. and J. F. Baker, all 
of this city.
