W.M. Davis, Of Nicholson, Is Taken By Death Nicholson, Ga. – Aug. 14 – Rev. W.M. Davis, 28 (sic), well known citizen of Nicholson, died Wednesday afternoon after an illness of several weeks. Rev. Davis had been a resident of Nicholson all of his life and for many years was a grocer and shoe-maker. However, the greater part of his life was spent in the ministry. He was a traveling evangelist of the Fire Baptized Holiness Church and was devoted to the cause which he advocated. He was preceded in death several years ago by his wife. Rev. Davis is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ella Denson and Mrs. Bert Potts, both of Nicholson, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, together with a number of other relatives and many friends. Services are to be conducted Friday afternoon from the Fire Baptized Holiness Church with burial following in Nicholson cemetery.
