   Davis – The friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Young Davis, 152 Arch
street; Mr. and Mrs. B.C. Capton, Jackson, Miss.; Mrs. Marle Baker,
Winston-Salem, N.C.; Mr. and Mrs. D.F. Wilson, Athens; Mr. and Mrs. B.L. Brooks,
Athens; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Davis, Anderson, S.C.; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry R. Davis,
Athens; Mr. and Mrs. R.N. Davis, Athens; Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Davis, Maysville,
Ga.; Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Davis, Nicholson, Ga.; and Mrs. W.K. Davis, Greenville,
S.C. are invited to attend the funeral of Mr. Young Davis, Saturday, June 6th at
3:00 p.m. from West End Baptist church.  The following gentlemen will serve as
pallbearers and meet at the residence of Mr. D.F. Wilson, 835 Oconee street at
2:30 p.m.; Mr. Jim Ross, Mr. Jim Kent, Mr. J.T. Saye, Mr. Henry Porter, Mr. B.L.
Adams, Mr. Carl Childers, sr.  Rev. R.E. Carter, pastor of West End Baptist
church, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Pope Duncan, pastor of Prince Avenue
Baptist church.  Interment will be in Oconee Hill cemetery.  Bernstein Funeral
Home.
