DELAPERIERRE The Banner, Athens, Georgia, Friday Morning, March 2, 1906 Transcribed by C. Epps Bond 10/3/2005 MRS DELAPERIERRE DEATH IN WINDER -------- Winder, Ga., Feb 27. - Mrs. J. C. DeLaperriere, of Winder, is dead at St. Petersburg, Fla. Three weeks ago Dr.J. C. DeLaperriere and wife left here for a pleasure visit of several months to St. Petersburg, Fla. While in Atlanta, waiting for her train at the new Terminal Station Mrs. DeLaperriere feel on the hard pavement against the stone steps in the waiting room, cutting an ugly gash over the eye and otherwise injuring herself. After her arrival at St. Petersburg she began to have attacks of illness. She was in an unconscious profound stupor for six days. Mrs. DeLaperriere was sixty-eight years old, had lived in Winder over twenty- five years. She leave a husband and five children – Dr. J. C. DeLaperriere, Mrs. W. B. McCants, Mrs. Luther Lanier, Dr. G. W. DeLaperrire, Dr. W. L. DeLaperriere, Mrs. J. W. Taylor, of Lutehrsville, GA. Mrs. DeLaperriere ws a consistent member of the Methodist Church.
