Larry Duncan, 56, of Athens, died Sunday, July 23, 2006.

A native of Clarke County, he was the son of Mary Damron and the late Chester 
Duncan. He was a truck driver for MH Trucking & Grading Contractors.
Survivors in addition to his mother include a daughter, Penny Duncan, Athens; 
brother, David Duncan, Jonesboro; sister, Shirley Gearing, Center; and a 
number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 26, in the chapel of Bernstein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Luther Fouche officiating. Burial was at Buena 
Vista Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Terry Bales, Steven Bales, Daniel Bales, Neil Cox, Greg Cox 
and David Cox.

Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
