He was 33 years old. Services will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. from Princeton Methodist Church with the pastor, Rev. Cecil W. Page, and Rev. R. N. Saye, pastor of Edwards Chapel Baptist Church, officiating. The body will lie in state in the church for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery, Bernstein, Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Epps is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Kittle Epps, Athens, daughter Brenda Epps, Athens, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Epps, Athens; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Dottery, Mrs. Elton Shelton, Jrs. J. W.Norman and Mrs. Robert Beale all of Athens; four brothers, William E., Thomas J., Ellis E., and Oscar Epps, Jr., all of Athens,, and several niecs and nephews. Mrs. Epps was a native of Clarke County and a lifelong resident in this community. He was a veteran of World War Two and a member of Princeton Methodist Church.
