Athens, Ga., February 17- This morning Mrs. James P. Evans died suddenly at her home on Grady avenue in this city. Heart disease was the cause of her death. Mrs. Evans was the wife of Mr. James P. Evans, of the Gainesville shoe store, of this city. She was a sister of Hon. Edward T. Brown, special attorney for the Western and Atlantic railroad, and a granddaughter of the late Dr. Nathan Hoyt, who was one of the most distinguished Presbyterian divines who ever lived in Georgia.
