Vivian Onell Fowler, 72, of Athens, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004.

A native of Oglethorpe County, she was the daughter of Annie Mae Silvey Smith, 
Athens, and the late Charlie Albert Smith. She was a homemaker and a member of 
First Apostolic Church of Bishop. Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by a 
daughter, Jackie Fowler.

Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Eddie Fowler, Athens; 
son, Eddie Dean Fowler, Athens; sister, Frances Wilson, Comer; brother, 
Leonard Smith, Athens; three granddaughters, Lavivia Doster and Carley Fields, 
both of Athens, and Kimberley Glass, Calhoun; two grandsons; five great-
grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 18, in the chapel of Lord and 
Stephens, EAST, Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis Hammond officiating. Burial 
was in Athens Memory Gardens.

Lord and Stephens, EAST, was in charge of arrangements..
