Robert E. “Bob” Garrison, Jr., 61, of Athens, died Thursday, August 4, 2005.

He was a native of Thomaston, but had lived most of his life in Athens, where 
he owned and operated a cleaning business. He was Baptist and was the son of 
the late Robert E. Garrison, Sr., and Mary Ogletree Garrison.

Survivors include his wife, Shelby Kinman Garrison; daughters and son-in-law, 
Meg Garrison, Athens, Katie and Adam Jones, Commerce; son and daughter-in-law, 
Robbie and Michelle Garrison, Watkinsville; and a grandchild, Casey Garrison, 
Athens.

Funeral services were held Sunday, August 7, in the chapel of Bernstein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Luther Fouche officiating. Burial was in Evergreen 
Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Kinman, John Kinman, John 
Garrison, Wayne Swinford, Bill Godfrey and David Westerbelt.

Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
