Goss Athens, Ga., August 25 (Special)-Dr. Isham H. Goss, one of Athens most prominent citizens, died here late Wednesday evening. He was one of the best- known physicians in the state, having practiced for many years. He was 70 years of age at the time of his death. For the last forty years he had been prominent in local, state and national medical associations and for a number of years was a member of the Georgia state board of medical examiners. Born in Banks county, Georgia, he had been a resident of Athens for more than thirty years. He is survived by one son, Dr. Ralph M. Goss, of this city; two daughters, Mrs. Agnes Goss Hughes, of Danville, Ga., and Mrs. Leila Goss Barwick of Athens.
