She was attacked with fever in a most violet form, only a few days ago, and after much suffering, she was called home. Mrs. Williams was a most estimable Christian woman, having been a devoted member of the Methodist church since childhood, and was no doubt ready when death came. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. E. D. Stone, occurred at the residence Wednesday, and were largely attended by relatives and friends, it was a source of regret that her brother, Mr. W. J. Hale, of Conyers, did not reach here in time for the funeral services. Mrs. Williams leaves a stricken husband, who has been confined to a bed of sickness for three months, a number of children and many friends to mourn her death.
