Dr. E L Hill, of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Interment will be at Oconee cemetery. He was a past grand commander of Knights Templar of Georgia and a member of the grand commandery of America. Officers and members of the Godfrey de Bouillon commandery, Athens, will act as honorary escort. The Atlanta Constitution 3 Sept 1924 Final Tribute Paid to B F Hardeman Athens, Ga., September 2-Special-Final tribute was paid to B F Hardeman this afternoon with funeral services conducted from the home at 5 o'clock with Rev. E L Hill, officiating. Interment was at Oconee cemetery. Hundreds of friends attended, while flowers sent to the home were lavish tributes to the love that Mr. Hardeman commanded throughtout the state. A large number of friends from the country and smaller places of northeast Georgia came to Athens for the last services. Acting as an honorary escort to the cemetery were officers and members of the Godfrey de Bouillon commandery of the Knights Templar. Others attending in a body were the Rotary club and the cotton dealers. Officials of the grand commandery of the state, including Grand Commander Sid Jones, of Milledgeville; Past Grand Commander J K Orr, of Atlanta; Grand Recorder Charles E Wood, of Savannah; Past Grand Commander F O Miller, of Fort Valley, and Grand Prelate J C wilkinson, of Athens, paid tribute to Mr. Hardeman.
