Carl N. Howington

Athens

 

   Carl N. Howington, 90 of 240 Floyd Drive, died Tuesday, March 5, 1996.

   A native of Barrow County, Mr. Howingtwon (sic) was born March 5, 1906, to
Eldridge Walker and Pearl Jones Howington.  He was retired from Jefferson Mills
and was a member of Forest Heights Baptist Church.

   Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Evergreen Memorial Park.

  Survivors include his wife, Bertha C. Howington, Athens; two daughters,
Margaret Cutshaw, Bogart, and Betty Jo Crump, Tucker; three grandchildren; and
two great-grandchildren.

   The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Bernstein Funeral Home.
