DEATHS IN GEORGIA.

Athens, Ga., March 27-
Mrs. Asa M. Jackson, one of Athens' most estimable ladies, died this morning 
after a short illness.  She was the widow of the late Judge Asa M. Jackson, who 
was the first ordinary of Clarke county, and served in that capacity for forty-
nine years.  Her funeral takes place tomorrow at 10 o'clock.
