Mrs. Lavender 

Mrs. Viola Bramblett Lavender, 83, 165A Vine Circle, died Thursday, Nov. 12. 

A native and lifelong resident of Clarke County, she was a daughter of the 
late Bob and Ida Bramblett and the widow of Fred B. Lavender. 

Graveside services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in Princeton United Methodist 
Church Cemetery with the Rev. Ben Glosson officiating. 

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Ernest T (Betty) Seymour, Decatur, Mrs. 
James (Ritzy) Walls, Gainesville, Mrs. C. B. (Dot) Nix and Mrs. Elmer (Reba) 
Watkins, Athens; three sons, Charles Lavender, Statham, Ted Lavender, 
Winterville, and Talmadge Lavender, Athens; two sisters, Mrs. C. R. Mercer, 
Dothan, Ala, and Mrs. H. G. Hale Sr., Athens; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grand-
children; and several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Bernstein Funeral Home.
