Mr. A. N. Lester Passed Away

Yesterday at his Home in this City. Leaves a Wife and five Children.

Mr. A. N. Lester, a well known and highly esteemed citizen of Athens passed away 
yesterday at his home on Park avenue. 

Mr. Lester was stricken with typhoid fever about two weeks ago and his condition 
had been serious for several days.  Yesterday Mr. Lester grew worse and at two 
thirty o'clock breathed his last. 

Mr. Lester was forty nine years old and leaves a wife and five children to mourn 
his death.

The funeral will take place this morning at eleven o'clock at Prospect church in 
Jackson county, near Tallasee.
