MRS. ALICE MADDREY 
	DIED ON SATURDAY 

The friends of Mrs. Alice Maddrey will be grieved to hear of her death which 
occurred at the residence of Mrs. J. H. Lambert at 196 North Milledge avenue 
Saturday morning.  Mrs. Maddrey had been ill for several weeks and while her 
death was not unexpected it was none the less a shock to her many friends.  
She was the widow of the late Mr. M. M. Maddrey, quite a successful business 
man of this city some years ago.  She was a devoted Christian and will be 
missed by all who knew her.  For several years she had made her home with her 
life  time friend, Mrs. James Gallaway.  She was a member of the First 
Presbyterian church.
