OBITUARY OF MRS. SUSAN MCGAUGHERY
The Banner Herald, Athens, Georgia, Thursday, September 27, 1923

Mrs. Susan McGaughery of Bogart died at home Wednesday night at 9:30 o/clock.  
She was 85 ? (last number blurried) years old.  She was a member of the Bogart 
Christian church. Mrs. McGaughery is survived by a daughter, Miss Mattie 
McGaughery, one brother, Jim Hale and a sister, Mrs. Ridgeway of Oconee 
county. 

The funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock with 
Rev. Tucker in charge at the Bogart Baptist church, interment following in the 
church yard.  B. Dunaway Sons, funeral directors of Athens in charge.
