Funeral of W. G. Mitchell 

Service Will Be Held at the Residence This Morning at 10 o'clock

The funeral of Wallace Giles Mitchell, who died Wednesday evening at 7 
o'clock, will occur from the residence, 414 Piedmont avenue, at 10:30 o'clock 
this morning.  The interment will be at Oakland.

Mr. Mitchell was 32 years of age, having been in this city for nine years. 
Since moving here from Athens, Ga., he served in the capacity of electrical 
engineer with the Southern Bell Telephone Company and later with Carier & 
Gillespie.  He leaves a host of friends here and elsewhere who mourn his loss. 

He is survived by his parents, Captain and Mrs. Dalton Mitchell, and three 
sisters, Misses Kathleen, Annie Maud, and Leonora. 

The United Sons of Confederate Veterans of which he was a member will honor 
him with an escort. 

The following will act as pallbearers: Dr. John Wilkins, James L. Dickey, Jr., 
Robert Malone, Charles Wallace, Charles Lippold, and George Stauffacher.
