Morris Died Yesterday Pallbearers will be a Number of Former Brothers in the Railway Service. Mr. Charles Morris, aged 56 years, died at his residence at 1 o'clock yesterday morning of paralysis, after an illness of several weeks. For several days past all hopes had been given up for his recovery. Mr. Morris was born at Rutledge, Ga., and spent his boyhood days there, but for the past thirty years has lived in Valdosta and Macon, being a connected with the Georgia Southern & Florida Railroad as dispatcher and conductor. He was a member of Railway Trainmen and the Odd Fellows, also the Methodist church. Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, five children, two brothers, Mr. D. H. Morris of Atlanta and Mr. J. C. Morris of Rutledge, and one sister, Mrs. McMahan of Madison. The body has been embalmed and prepared for shipment by the Miller Company, funeral directors, and will be taken on the 7:30 train this morning to Rutledge, accompanied by the family, where the funeral will take place at 12 o'clock from the Methodist church. Rev. S. R. England of this city will officiate. The interment will be int he family cemetery at that place. The pallbearers will be selected from the Brotherhood of Trainmen and are requested to meet at the Miller Furniture Co. at 6 o'clock sharp.
