 Bernstein Funeral Home 6/30/2015
Thomas Jefferson Pledger, 84, passed away on Saturday June 27, 2015.
A native of Clarke County, he was the son of the late Warren L. and Millie 
Burton Pledger. Mr. Pledger was a veteran of the US Marine Corps., and a retired 
tool and die maker with Westinghouse. He was also a member of East Athens 
Baptist Church but had attended Prince Avenue Baptist Church for the past 
several years. 
Survivors include his wife Faye Cochran Pledger, three children Robin and Jaime 
Pledger, Jason and Trisha Pledger and John and Cheeka Pack; twelve 
grandchildren, Ashley Holcomb, Chip Pledger, Whitney Bradshaw, Chad Pledger, 
Wren Pledger, Joshua Pledger, Jacy Ann Pledger, Alicen Brizendine, Kathryn Pack 
and Drew Pack; four great great grandchildren Madison Holcomb, Mary Morgan 
Holcomb, Kinsee Bradshaw and Kase Bradshaw. 
Funeral services was at 4pm Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the chapel of Bernstein 
Funeral Home. Interment was in Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens,Ga.The family  
received friends from 3-4 pm Tuesday at Bernstein. 
Pallbearers was Chip Pledger, Chad Pledger, John Pack, Cory Holcomb, Derrick 
Bradshaw and Matt Brizendine. 
Bernstein Funeral Home and Cremation Service Athens,Ga.were in charge of 
arrangements.
